I recently visited Umi Sushi & Seafood Buffet during my stay in Atlantic City, and overall, it was a solid dining experience. One of the conveniences is its location—it's about a 10-minute drive (roughly 3 miles) from the Atlantic City Boardwalk, making it an easy and quick trip if you're staying nearby but want something different from the usual casino dining options. The variety of food was definitely a highlight. From fresh sushi options to a wide selection of seafood, there was something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the sushi rolls and the hot food stations, which were consistently replenished and well-organized. The atmosphere was lively and spacious, making it a good spot for both groups and casual dining. Despite it being busy, the staff kept things moving efficiently—tables were cleared promptly, and the buffet stations stayed clean and stocked. We love Umi! We always go right when they open so the dishes are always fresh!! Love the selection and the service is great. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. They also have milk tea!

I went there with my friends at noon. The food is rich in variety and quite fresh. We most like the sushi and hotpot. The server are also very nice,and I will come with my family next time.

First time trying this buffet out of curiosity and overall it was a mixed experience. There’s a wide variety of food options, including ramen and hotpot, which makes it fun to explore. I also liked that milk teas and drinks are included in the price. However, there were some serious concerns. I saw a roach in the napkin dispenser, which is a major hygiene issue and really affected my impression. The crispy squid and grilled squid were also quite tough and not enjoyable. Good variety and value, but cleanliness and some food quality issues need improvement.
